The Beach

Jacket - Monki (similar) // Sweater - Gap (similar) // Shorts - Tempt (similar)

Heading out to Coogee always leads to one thing after a good picnic or brunch and for us it's exploring the sandstoned cliffs beyond the beach. Something always seems to happen (or be found, mostly by the adventurous nugget below!) when we're sitting out there so we've decided to share with you one of our memorable spots in Sydney!

Chunky sweaters like this green rib knit are my go to clothing item whenever the day calls for a winter's beach trip. I've tucked it in a pair of shorts, with tights and chelsea's for a slightly more feminine look (the androgynous look with this sweater here)

Top - Topshop (similar) // Blazer - Forever 21 (similar) // Bag - T.Y. (similar) // Pants - Sportsgirl // Sunglasses - Chica Booti (similar) // Shoes - Nordstrom

Since I mostly wear very casual outfits, I thought today would be nice for a bit of a change and do something dressy. This outfit could be worn for dinner or a night out, but also if you feel like dressing up a bit for a day outing as well. This particular day was not quite hot, but not that cold either, so this blazer was the perfect outerwear. I always love this camel shade, and I love experimenting pairing it with various different colours, like this metallic tank. These sunnies are new too, and I quite like how different they are to what I usually wear.

Anyway, both Karina and I have hectic schedules at the moment, but we're continuing to take photos when we can, so we have lots and lots lined up for the blog! Have a nice day :)

Button down - Aeropastale (similar) // Jeans - Mavi

It was quite the challenge when Steph brought up the idea for a bright outerwear post but delightful nonetheless because it meant a refreshing change from the black and navy coats! Sadly, the closest thing I had to bright was a burgundy peacoat, so I opted for this thick plaid button down and paired it with a billowy beige tee, black jeans and vans. Who would've known that bright outerwear would lead to a laid back "skater" look (a shout out to those Avril Lavigne fans that knew her first *cough* Steph *cough*)!

Coat - Esprit (similar) // Romper - XXI (similar) // Hat - Sportsgirl

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon this brilliant red raincoat that belongs to my mum, but she hasn't worn in donks! I immediately wanted to wear it, specifically with a white blouse. So I got out an old school shirt, and that was that. I just love how the overall look came together, and the black romper I wore underneath helps balance everything out. This coat is just so brilliant, so now I have to figure out other ways I can wear it. Would you guys like for it to make an appearance again? Hope you all like this outfit, let us know what you think!
